Jethro's RecipesSTIR FRIES Stir fry sliced red pepper, onions, garlic, green chilli, water chestnuts. Remove. Add chopped chicken meat to wok, stir fry. Season with soy and return vegetables to wok. Splash in Ginger Chilli sauce, toss to mix – serve over noodles. Suggestion: Ginger Chilli Sauce (Ginger Lime for mild version) Venison & Wild Rice Stir Fry Marinate thinly sliced venison steaks. Cook wild rice/Basmati mix. Sear venison in olive and butter, add in sliced onion and crushed garlic. Cook 3 minutes. Add sliced green pepper and mushrooms, cook further 5 minutes. Splash in reserved marinade and sizzle. Add a splash of sour cream, check seasoning. Stir chopped parsley through hot rice and serve. Suggestion: Red Wine Orange & Juniper Marinade Sizzling Turkey Fajitas Marinate turkey strips. Fry 3-4 minutes. Add sliced onion, fry, add sliced pepper (yellow, red and green), fry till done. Add reserved marinade. Warm tortillas. Assemble with turkey mix, sour cream, shredded lettuce and avocado salsa (diced tomato, chilli, red onion, avocado, coriander, oil, seasoning). Roll and eat. Suggestion: Lime Chilli & Oregano Marinade Beef Stroganoff Marinate 750gr beef cut in thin strips. Cook finely chopped onion with butter and olive oil. Remove, cook sliced mushroom in a little more oil. Season and remove. Melt more butter, when foaming, add beef and stir fry till nearly cooked. Return onion and mushroom to pan. Stir in 1tsp mustard, paprika and 200ml sour cream. Heat through and serve over rice. Suggestion: Red Wine Orange & Juniper |
