Our piri piri seasoning combines natural flavours of garlic, chilli and basil to make a winning combination. A medium spiced and warming piri piri seasoning to use as a rub for meats or meat substitutes or make spicy wedges. This spice is a medium to slightly  hot level of heat, adjust quantity used for a less spicy meal.

If you don’t need to use all of the packet – it can be resealed to retain freshness using the strip seal at the top of the pack.

Recipe Suggestion:

4 to 6 skin-on chicken thighs and 4 to 6
drumsticks
• Jethro’s Piri Piri Seasoning
• Juice of 1/2 Lemon
• 1 tbsp oil

Directions:

Combine the lemon juice, oil and Piri Piri mix together in a large bowl. Cut each piece of chicken 3 times and add the spice mix ensuring each chicken piece is fully coated. If time allows, cover and leave to marinate for 2 hours in the fridge. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas mark 6. Arrange the chicken pieces skin-side up, in a roasting tin. Cook for 30 mins, then increase heat to 220C/200C fan/gas mark 7 and cook for a further 15 mins until the skin is crispy and golden and the chicken cooked.
Serve alongside rice or wedges and/or leaf salad.
